[Political Punch] Political Punch: VA GOP Chief Compares Obama to Osama: The money is coming from the little people in this country like me who have given the Obama/Biden ticket $25 to $55 donations when they/I can to defeat the Republican ticket that for the last 8 years that have torn this country to shreds. I am a man of modest means that owns a small cleaning business and will continue to support the ticket for the party that will rebuild this country, not tear it apart.
[Millard Fillmore's Bathtub] 6 ways challenges to Obamas citizenship fail « Millard Fillmores ...: The National Conference then does a background investigation on all candidates, generally an investigation more thorough than the FBI’s checking for most federal appointees. In the past, the Conference has reported issues like minor drug use, preventing people from becoming lawyers in several states. Absent a showing by someone that the National Conference granted special waivers, or a showing of other irregularities, the fact that Obama held a license to practice law presents a rebuttable presumption that his birth certificate is valid exactly as he alleges, and that his draft status is legal. Obviously, the BCOs have no information to indicate any irregularity, since they were unaware of this check. We should assume, therefore, that Obama has a valid birth certificate and draft registration, since the Illinois Bar got a recommendation from the National Conference of Bar Examiners that Obama was morally fit to be a lawyer.

But I'm not even sure he's buying it anymore." --Jon Stewart, on Coretta Scott King's funeral
[BBC Blog Network] BBC - Justin Webb's America: Disappointment?: I will not debate you as to whether the Iraq war was started by bad intelligence or by greedy politicians, but I will debate you if you wish, that the Iraqi children I saw begging in the streets today will have a better chance at a happy, fulfilled life because of the sacrifices of the thousands of American and British and Aussie, and Italian, and Pakistani, and Ugandan, and Canadian servicemembers, along with the folks from all of the other coalition countries I've neglected. Maybe we do have a few friends after all...
[Truck and Barter] Truck and Barter: Dinar Discussion January 2009: After 911, America in its own defense invaded Iraq, and now poses a closer and more direct threat to Radical Islamic beliefs - a threat they might Westernize the radical Islamic world, making it more tolerant and removing from power the terrorist stronghold and viewpoint. Also, the President of the United States - when asked, would not say that if the US was attacked again he would not retaliate against Mecca (which is located in Saudi Arabia) and actually wipe this most holy site of Islam off the face of the map.
[Being American in TO] Being American in T.O.: War on Terror Archives: The outpouring of American solidarity with Spain - then an ally - after the March 11 may not be matched if Canada - not an ally - is hit. The fact that Canada's military and security forces are already over-extended and the unfortunate circumstance that an idiot (Anne McClellan) is in charge of Canadian security puts the ruling Liberal Party in a bit of a briar patch: if PM Martin choses to use Opposition leader Stephen Harper's support of the US effort in Iraq as a weapon during the electoral campaign, he further exacerbates relations between the US and Canada but if a terrorist attack happens up here and he calls upon the US to help Canada, more than a few Americans will say "Call France."

[The Tyra Banks Show] The Tyra Banks Show: Have An Idea for a Social Experiment? Archives: appointments and they could never contoll it.it has been horrible.i couldn't do anything like i use to including simple hanging out with friends on the weekends, going out to eat, nothing.i literallysat in my house for 6 months doing nothing during the week and weekends but maybe go to walmart once a week to buy some groceries with my mom.i felt traper always.i couldn't go to school ever.i went on homebound and had a teacher come and drop off work every week.when the second semester came around we thought we'd go talk to the guidance counselor and see what were my options were.so we decided i would study and just take the GED.i did and passed in the end of march.but all i ever wanted to do was have the greatest senior year ever and getting sick took it all away.i still cry and get angry about it all the time cause this wasn't my fault.you can ask all friends thats all i cared about this year...having the greatest year of my life with all my best friends and just loving this year but its all gone.besides getting to walk with my class at graduation and prom...its gone now.i when i went into the hospital i weighed 120 pounds.about a week later i had went down to 105.then i was always sick and never had a appetite so we know why i lost weight.but now my stomach has slowed down some and i am eating like a pig and i am now down to 102 and i can't gain weight for nothingand i really hate it.i'm 5'7 and look like a toothpick and i hate it!idon't want to look like i do drugs or i'm bullemic or anerexic because really i'm not!! i eat all the time and my family knows i do!i use to be skinny befor i went in the hospital but now i just look disguting and i've met other people that can't gain weight for nothing and some have been that way because the too have alot of health problems too.i just thought ,you know, since you tell women to stop caring about if they are overweight and stop feeling like they have to be perfect, that you would also see what i'm talking about here to with me and others alike.i would give anything just to gain 30 pounds!!!!
