Fitch improves country rating for romania
[Romania Business News - ACTmedia.EU] It foresees a foreign deficit of 5% both in 2010 and 2011.The foreign debt rate maintained at a good level of 85% on the average, in conditions in which mother banks reasserted their engagements to remain in Romania.On the other hand, the foreign economic and financial environment improved, supporting the stability of the national currency, which helped counteract pressures on the banking system, when over 50% of the domestic credit is in foreign exchange, the rating agency shows.

Romania will be part of danube strategy
[Romania Business News - ACTmedia.EU] The conference at Ulm opened up the public consultations process launched by the European Commission on the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, in which all Danube riparian states are invited to take part. Within the consultation process, the European Commission will organize, in the Danube riparian member states, a number of thematic conferences with all relevant stakeholders, that is national, local and regional public administration representatives, but also private sector representatives.

[C(h)ristian's Blog] The present paper investigates the recent history of the Romanian family as a heteropatriarchal matrix for metaphors of masculinity at the beginning of the 21st century, as it is heralded by the main radical right populist party Greater Romania Party (Partidul România Mare, PRM). Focusing on Greater Romania Magazine (RRM, Revista România Mare) - the party’s main media outlet- the analysis focuses on PRM leader’s editorials during a well defined timeframe in recent history of Romanian radical right populism, from the preparations for presidential elections in 2000, which witnessed PRM leader’s surprising run off, through the subsequent presidential elections in 2004, and up EU Parliamentary elections in 2009, that enabled PRM to send three representatives to European Parliament.
